"Día Del Santuario Historico Machu Picchu"

MACHU PICCHU "La ciudad perdida de los Incas" fue declarada una de Las Nuevas Siete Maravillas del Mundo Moderno, el 07 de Julio del 2007, en la ciudad de Lisboa, Portugal en un concurso que contó con la participación de 100 millones de votantes del mundo entero.Debido a ello ese mismo año el aún entonces presidente del Perú Alán García Perez, decreto esa fecha como el "Día del Santuario Historico Machu Picchu" en recordatorio de la importancia de esta maravilla para el mundo y en reconocimiento a la participación de todo el pueblo peruano en dichas votaciones.

MACHU PICCHU "Lost City of the Incas" was named one of The New Seven Wonders of the Modern World, on July 7, 2007, in the city of Lisbon, Portugal in a contest that was attended by 100 million voters in the world. As a result, the same year the then still president of Peru Alan Garcia Perez, decree that date as the "Day of the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary" in reminder of the importance of this wonder to the world and in recognition of the participation of all the Peruvian people in these ratings.
